ARE WE DOING IT

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee."

Rev. John Henry Sammis wrote the hymn "TRUST AND OBEY". Are we doing what we sing in this hymn or are we just singing the words?

"When we walk with the Lord In the light of His Word, What a glory He sheds on our way! While we do His good will, He abides with us still, And with all who will trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, Not a cloud in the skies, But His smile quickly drives it away; Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear, Can abide while we trust and obey.  Trust and obey, For there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey."

Are we doing it? Are we trusting and obeying what our Saviour tells us to do? If not, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart.
