ARE WE WILLING

"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

Ernest William Blandy wrote the hymn "WHERE HE LEADS ME".

"I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling, Take thy cross and follow, follow Me.

He leads me I will follow, Where He leads me I will follow, Where He leads me I will follow; I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way."

How about it? Are we willing to follow Jesus and do what He asks us to do? If not, we are hurting Him and breaking His heart. Jesus left His Father, His home and all that He had to come to earth and die on the cross for us so we can be saved. How can we do less than follow Him and serve Him?

One day we will stand before God and give an account of the way we treat His beloved Son. May God have mercy on us if we are hurting Jesus and breaking His heart.
