 HERE COMES OUR SAVIOUR

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17
King James Version

When a man and woman get married, the bride walks down the aisle to meet the groom and everyone stands as the bride walks down the aisle.

When Jesus comes back for us every knee will bow to Him. What a beautful sight that will be as He finally gets the praise that He so richly deserves.

We read in the Bible "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10,11

What a beautiful sight that is going to be when Jesus finally gets the praise, the recognition and glory that He so richly deserves. Jesus does so much for us yet He still is being hurt every day because of the way we treat one another.

Jesus has given us a command. It is not an option. It is a command. We read in the Bible "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." John 15:12

Albert E. Brumley wrote one of my favorite hymns "I’ll Fly Away". I love the words in this inspiring and heart touching hymn.

"Some glad morning when this life is over, I’ll fly away; To a home on God’s celestial shore, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).
’ll fly away, Oh Glory I’ll fly away; (in the morning) When I die, Hallelujah, by and by, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away).

When the shadows of this life have gone, I’ll fly away; Like a bird from prison bars has flown, I’ll fly away (I’ll fly away)."

Don't miss out on going to Heaven with Jesus when He comes back for us. If you have never admitted you are a sinner, asked God to forgive your sins and invited Jesus into your heart to be your Saviour, I urge you to do it even as you read this devotion.

Don't miss out on spending eternity with Jesus. Don't keep rejecting Him and breaking His heart.
