 THE STORY OF LOVE

"Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul."

Psalms 66:16
King James Version

Ina Mae Duley Ogdon wrote a beautiful hymn "THE STORY NEVER OLD". I love the words in this hymn.

"They tell me that the story Of my Savior has grown old; It never will be old to me. It grows more sweet and precious As again I hear it told; It never will be old to me."

One of my favorite hymns is "TELL ME THE STORY OF JESUS" by Fanny Crosby. There is no story or sweeter name than the story and name of Jesus.

"Tell me the story of Jesus, Write on my heart every word. Tell me the story most precious, Sweetest that ever was heard. Tell how the angels in chorus, Sang as they welcomed His birth. Glory to God in the highest! Peace and good tidings to earth."

Are you telling your family that Jesus loves them so much He died for them? Several years ago I heard a young man in church give his testimony during testimony time. He said "I'm a Christian today because my mother prayed for me".

Jesus has set the example for us to follow. He prays for us. "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." (Luke 22:32)

Do our children know we love Jesus by our kind words and actions? If we want our children to be kind and loving to others, they need to see us being kind and loving to others.

May God help all of us to be kind and loving to one another. It will make Jesus happy. Making Jesus happy should be the goal of every person. Are you making Jesus happy? Only you can answer that question.
