THANKFUL FOR JESUS

I know it isn't Christmas but we can be thankful for the birth of Jesus every day of our lives. Thanksgiving is only two days away and we will be with our family and firneds but if it wasn't for the birthday of our Saviour there wouldn't be a Thanksgiving Day and we would have no reason to celebrate.

Carrie E. Breck wrote a beautiful hymn about our Saviour "FACE TO FACE WITH CHRIST, MY SAVIOR". Have you allowed it to go from head knowledge to heart knowledge that we are going to see Jesus face to face?

"Face to face with Christ, my Savior, Face to face—what will it be, When with rapture I behold Him, Jesus Christ who died for me?

Only faintly now I see Him, With the darkened veil between, But a blessèd day is coming, When His glory shall be seen.

Face to face I shall behold Him, Far beyond the starry sky; Face to face in all His glory, I shall see Him by and by!"

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us. Thank You for Jesus. What a healing balm it is to know that You will never hit us or kick us out of Heaven. I love You, dear Father. I love You, precious Jesus. I love You Holy Spirit. In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.
