A GIFT FROM THE HEART

“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

Matthew 2:11 KJV

We can give Jesus a special gift for His birthday by giving our children a gift from our heart as we hug them and tell them we love them.  Jesus loves little children and it makes Him very happy when we are kind to our children.

We read in the Bible “But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.  And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence” (Matthew 19:14, 15).  May God help us to be kind and loving to our children.

Heavenly Father, I pray for children.  May they feel Your love for them by the hugs they get from their parents.  Please touch the hearts of everyone to hug children.  Thank You for being a loving Father and for hugging us every day.  Please encourage every pastor.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
