OUR ROCK AND OUR HOPE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Rev. Edward Mote wrote a beautiful hymn. It is one of my favorites "MY HOPE IS BUILT THE SOLID ROCK". i'm so glad to know that Jesus is our Rock of protection.

"My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus’ name.

On Christ the solid rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand; All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace. In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil.
His oath, His covenant, His blood, Support me in the whelming flood.  When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay.

When He shall come with trumpet sound, Oh may I then in Him be found. Dressed in His righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne."

We can depend on Jesus to never leave us and to protect us from all harm. If you have never invited Jesus into your heart to be your Saviour, I urge you to do it even as you read this devotion. Don't miss out on spending eternity with the One Who loves you so much He died for you.
