PEACE

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

Matthew 5:9

If we are not making peace then we  are troublemakers.  What about you?  Are you being called a peacemaker or a troublemaker? If we refuse to forgive those who hurt us, not only are we a troublemaker, we are also hurting God and breaking His heart.

God loves us so much that He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for us so we can have our sins forgiven.  How dare you and I refuse to forgive those who have hurt us when God gave His Son to die for our sins? Not only are we hurting God when we refuse to forgive, we are also hurting Jesus.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us for hurting You when we refuse to forgive those who have hurt us.  I pray that You will melt the the heart of those who have hardened their heart and refused to forgive those who have hurt them. Thank You dear Father for loving us unconditionally even when we hurt You and break Your heart.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
