THE STAR

"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him."

I love to look at the stars but the greatest star was the star that led the wise men to the Baby Jesus. Ben Speer sings one of my favorite hymns about the birth of the Baby Jesus "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem". "Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem Shining afar through shadows dim Giving the light for those who long have gone Guiding the wise men on their way Unto the place where Jesus lay."

What joy and happiness filled the wise men when they saw the Baby Jesus. What joy and happiness fills our heart when we invited Jesus into our heart to be our personal Saviour. If you have never invited Jesus into your heart, I urge you to do it today before it is too late. Jesus loves you so much He died for you. Say yes to Jesus today!
