A DAY OF HAPPINESS

"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

It was a day of happiness and rejoicing when the Baby Jesus was born. However, this precious little Baby grew up and went to the cross to die for your sins and for my sins. It was a day of sadness when Jesus was crucified on the cross for us.

As we gather together at Christmas, let's not forget what this precious little Baby did for us. The greatest thing we can give Jesus for His birthday is our heart. Have you given your heart to Jesus? Have you told Him how much you love and appreciate Him?

If you haven't given your heart and life to Jesus, I urge you to do it now. Jesus endured excruciating pain on the cross so you may live forever. Don't let His suffering be in vain. Say yes to Jesus today.
