 A HAPPY DAY

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Revelation 21:4
King James Version

Jim Hill wrote the beautiful heart touching and inspiring hymn "What A Day That Will Be". I love the words in this hymn.

"There is coming a day When no heartache shall come No more clouds in the sky No more tears to dim the eye All is peace forever more On that happy golden shore What a day, glorious day that will be.

What a day that will be When my Jesus I shall see And I look upon His face The One who saved my by His grace When He takes me by the hand And leads me through the Promised Land What a day, glorious day that will be"

We can't make it without Jesus. Life is too hard and there is too much violence in the world. Without Jesus, we aren't living, we just exist. Jesus wants us to have a happy life. We read in the Bible.

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Jesus loves you so much and He wants you to be happy.  If you feel sad and are discouraged, brokenhearted, tell Jesus. He loves you so much and He is waiting with His arms open wide for you to run into them.

Remember, Jesus walked that long lonely road to Calvary and allowed them to beat Hm beyond recognition, spit on Him, mock Him, curse Him and then crucify Him on the cross for something He had never done because He loves you so much.

If you are reading this devotion, know that Jesus loves you unconditionally. Even when we hurt Him, our precious Saviour still loves us. There is nothing you could ever do that would make Him stop loving you.

Please join me in praising our wonderful Saviour. He is the "KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" and He loves you.
