THE TRUTH

It makes satan very angry when we serve Jesus and satan will do all he can do to discourage us from serving Jesus. We must not let that happen. We must stay on the battlefield for Jesus just as He stayed on the cross for us.

Are you serving Jesus? If not, why aren't you? Jesus left His Father, His home and all that He had to come to earth to die for our sins. You might think there is nothing you can do for Jesus, that you can't sing or play the piano or teach but all of us can love one another and encourage each other.

We read in the Bible. "So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved" (Isaiah 41:7).

Jesus will never have to be beaten and tortured again but every day we hurt Him when we are unkind and hurt one another. Jesus has told us that when we hurt each other, we also hurt Him. Every time I read this verse, it breaks my heart to know that I hurt Him when I am unkind to someone.

"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" (Matthew 25:40).

One day we will stand before our Heavenly Father and give an account of the way we treated His Son.
