GOD UNDERSTANDS

"After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. We will be celebrating the birth of Jesus soon. While Christmas and holidays are a happy time they can also be a sad time for some people who have lost loved ones.

My Mother died on Christmas Day many years ago. While Christmas is a happy day for me and I rejoice because Jesus was born, I also have cried because my Mother is no longer with me.

God understands how we feel and how it hurts when our loved ones die because His own Son not only died, His Son was killed for something He had not done.

Jesus had never done anything wrong yet our precious Saviour was beaten beyond recognition, spat on, cursed, mocked, humiliated and had nails pounded into His precious hands.

If you are hurting today, allow our Heavenly Father to comfort and encourage you as He has done for me so many times.

Heavenly Father, please go sit in Your rocking chair and rock and comfort all who are hurting as You have done for me so many times. I love You, Heavenly Father, and I appreciate all You have done for me. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
