 DON'T PUT THE LOVE AWAY

"And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh."

Matthew 2:11
King James Version

Christmas is over and we're putting the decorations away for another year but when we put them away, let's not put the love we give to others at Christmas away. The love and kindness we give to others at Christmas should be in our heart every day of the year.

There is always someone who is discouraged, who feels all alone and there are people who just want to give up, go to bed and stay there. We must not give up. We must stay on the battlefield for Jesus just as He stayed on the cross for us.

As the new year begins, let's make a commitment to Jesus to be kinder, more paitent and loving to everyone. Jesus stayed on the cross for us when He was in pain and agony so we need to be kind and loving even when we don't feel good.

Heavenly Father, there are people who are lonely, discouraged and hurting emotionally and physically. Please comfort and encourage them as You have done for me so many times. I love You and I appreciate the privilege You have given me to tell others about our precious Saviour. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
