 GIVE FROM YOUR HEART

"They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage. So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved."

Isaiah 41:6, 7
King James Version

It's nice to buy Christmas presents for our loved ones but all the money in the world can't buy love. A young boy said "My mom played with me all day last Christmas and talked to me but the next day she turned on the television and hasn't played or talked with me since Christmas except to tell me what to do".

If you're like me, you don't have a lot of money to buy gifts for loved ones but we can encourage one another. The person who says "I don't need anything or anyone" is not being honest.

All of us need to know we are loved and all of us can give of ourselves. It only takes a few minutes to send someone an email to let them know you care. Remember, when you tell people you love them and encourage them, you are making Jesus happy.

Our Heavenly Father gave from His heart when He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross for your sins and for my sins. Jesus gave from His heart when He willingly walked that long lonely road to Calvary and allowed them to crucify Him.

Ray Overholt wrote the beautiful and heart touching hymn "He Could Have Called Ten Thousand Angels". "They bound the hands of Jesus In the garden where He prayed They led Him through the streets in shame They spat upon the Saviour So pure and free from sin They said, "Crucify Him He's to blame

He could have called ten thousand angels To destroy the world (the world) and set Him free He could have called ten thousand angels But He died alone (alone) for you and me."

Jesus gave from His heart. Are we willing to give from our heart? Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done. I love You and look forward to the day when I will have the privilege of seeing You face to face.
