 THE HEART OF JESUS

"And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!"

John 11:34-36
King James Version

Marvin P. Dalton wrote the beautiful, heart touching hymn "O What a Savior". Every time I hear this hymn I get tears in my eyes to know that Jesus loves us this much.

"Once I, I was straying in sin's dark valley No hope within could I see, Then they searched all of heaven And they found my sweet Jesus And He saved a poor lost soul like me.

O what a Savior, O Hallelujah His heart was broken on Calvary His hands were nail-scarred His side was riven He gave His life's blood for even me."

Have you allowed it to go from head knowledge to heart knowledge that Jesus loves you and how much He loves you? I write a lot about the unconditional love Jesus has for us and I will keep writing about my precious Saviour until God calls me home.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so much You gave Your beloved Son to die on the cross for our sins. Please help us to love one another unconditionally so we will make Jesus happy. I love You, Jesus. Thank You for loving me, for dying on the cross for me and for never leaving me.

Heavenly Father, please encourage all who are lonely, brokenhearted and who feel all alone. Please pick them up in Your loving arms and rock them and comfort them as You have done for me so many times. Help me to be an encouragement to all who are hurting. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
