GOD APPRECIATES YOU

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?  Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
Isaiah 6:8 KJV

A lady used to go to her mother’s house every week and do her mother’s laundry.  It made the daughter very happy that she could do something for her mother.  However, her mother only thanked her a couple of times and then acted like she expected her daughter to do it every week.

Some of the happiness and excitement went out of her daughter’s heart because she didn’t feel like her mother appreciated her and her mother was just taking her for granted.  God not only appreciates you, He also loves you and He appreciates you serving His Son.

Pastors and Evangelists, you may feel like nobody appreciates you.  I submit to you on the authority of the Word of God that you are appreciated.  Every person you minister to is recorded in God’s heart. Those of you who play the piano or organ or sing, you are making the heart of Jesus happy.

What about you?  What are you doing for Jesus?  Has there ever been a time in your life when you said to our loving Saviour “Here am I; send me”?  If we aren’t serving Jesus, we should be because He gave His life for us and He endured pain and agony that you and I will never know.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us and for giving us the privilege of serving Jesus.  Please put the desire in every Christian’s heart to serve Jesus with all their heart and with all their time.  Thank You for the eleven years You have allowed me to serve Jesus.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
