THE UNCONDITIONAL GIFT

“For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 KJV

I have been to many websites that had the message “For a contribution, we will give you something free”.  I’ve also heard advertised on the radio and television that for a donation of so much money we will send you this gift.  If we have to pay money or contribute money for something, it is not a gift.

Our Heavenly Father has given us the greatest Gift ever given and His name is Jesus.  Not only is Jesus the greatest Gift ever given, He is also an unconditional Gift.  None of us deserve this wonderful Gift.  Jesus is a gift of unconditional love to us from the heart of God.  O how God loves you and me.

Heavenly Father, we praise You and thank You for loving us so much that You gave Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.  Thank You for loving us unconditionally.  Help us to love one another unconditionally as Jesus has commanded us to love each other.  In Jesus’ Name, I pray.  Amen.
