HIS PROTECTIVE ARMS

“And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.”
Mark 10:16 KJV

Fanny Crosby wrote the beautiful hymn “Safe in the Arms of Jesus”.  “Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe from corroding care, Safe from the world’s temptations, Sin cannot harm me there. Free from the blight of sorrow, Free from my doubts and fears; Only a few more trials, Only a few more tears!”

Elisha A. Hoffman wrote one of my favorite hymns “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”.  “What have I to dread, what have I to fear, Leaning on the everlasting arms; I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, Leaning on the everlasting arms.”  I am so thankful for the protective arms of Jesus.

Horatio G. Spafford wrote “It Is Well with My Soul”.  “And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll; The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, Even so—it is well with my soul.”  One day Jesus is coming back for us and we will be with Him for eternity.

It doesn’t matter how many trials and dark valleys we have to go through because one day it will be worth it all. Esther Kerr Rusthoi wrote the inspiring hymn “It Will Be Worth It All”.  It will be worth it all when we see Jesus face to face.  What a day of happiness and rejoicing it is going to be when we see Jesus.

Are you ready to meet Jesus?  If you have never invited Him into your heart, I urge you to do it now before it’s too late.  One day it will be too late.  Your family and friends can’t do it for you.  Salvation is personal between Jesus and you.  Open the door of your heart and let Jesus come in before it is too late.
