THERE’S STILL ROOM

“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”
Colossians 1:20 KJV

Pastor Ira Stanphill wrote “Room at the Cross”.  I’m so glad the heart touching and inspiring words in this beautiful hymn are still true today.  “There's room at the cross for you There's room at the cross for you Though millions have come, there's still room for one Yes there's room at the cross for you.”

If you have never opened the door of your heart and invited Jesus in to be your personal Saviour, I urge you, I plead with you to do it now.  Jesus could come back for us even as you read this devotion.  Your family and loved ones can’t do it for you.  Salvation is personal between Jesus and you.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).  The most important decision you will ever make is where you will spend eternity.  You’ll either spend it in Heaven or you’ll spend it in hell.

If you are saved and have wandered away from God, He is waiting with open arms for you to come back to Him.  William J. Kirkpatrick wrote “LORD, I’M COMING HOME”.  “I’ve wandered far away from God, Now I’m coming home; The paths of sin too long I’ve trod, Lord, I’m coming home.”

Don’t let your pride or fear of what someone will say keep you from going home to our Heavenly Father.  He’ll forgive you and hold you close to His loving heart.  He loves you so much He gave His beloved Son to die on the cross.  Go home to God now!
